We respectfully invite all who appreciates the sacrifices the men and women made who died defending our Nation to attend our Memorial Day Service at Dignity Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park and Mortuary FD 916, in North Hollywood California, followed by a RUN to the WLA VA.

Dannion Brinkley will be speaking at the Service in North Hollywood and visiting hospitalized Veterans at the WLA VA. The Twilight Brigade (TTB) will be volunteering in full force at both locations.

This will be the 90th Annual Memorial Day Service at Dignity Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park and Mortuary, FD916.

The ceremony will start promptly at 10 am for approximately 1 1/2 hours Memorial Day, May 25, 2015. Followed by free barbecue hosted by Pierce Brothers Valhalla.

The program will consist of Calling and Posting of Colors, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, Welcome Invocation, Guest speakers (Dannion will be speaking with 4 other Veterans) Wreath Laying, Dove Release, God Bless America, Benediction, Lowering of the Flag, and Closing Remarks, followed by Refreshments and BBQ. Pierce Brothers Valhalla will also be sponsoring a "No entry fee" Car and Motorcycle show with all process donated to Wounded Warrior. Youth 13-19 can enter an Essay Contest with grand prizes totaling $400.00. Kona shaved Ice truck will donate 20% of their earing to TTB. Additionally, there will be a special 90th year commemorative pin given to all Active duty military, Veterans and their family members who attend. Following these presentations all are invited to attend a free barbecue.
At 1:30 pm the RUN sponsored by TTB will start with all riders, TTB volunteers and Dannion leaving the BBQ to visit our Brother and Sister Veterans at the West Los Angeles Community Living Centers (CLC). 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Bldg. 215 Los Angeles, CA 90073. Most of these 150 Veterans may never have a visitor and end up dying alone at the VA. Memorial Day can be very hard on our Veterans, please help TTB show them they are appreciated, honored and respected.
